Orca / Diablo

Orca. Diablo. MADA.

MADA brings the Orca leather jacket and Diablo shorts into one study. Eva Juliet was photographed moving through both pieces to show how the silhouettes hold their shape.

The project was photographed by Patrick Lanham on October 15, 2023.

Orca Leather Jacket

The Orca jacket.

The black crocodile-embossed jacket was made in New York by Gustavo with Yosh Dafney.

First shown at New York Fashion Week in 2021, it is cut at the waist with darts through the elbows and mid-back.

Close through the shoulders and biceps, open at the waist.

Chanel Alorsan kept Eva's makeup natural with a smokey eye, mascara, and a small amount of blush. The hair was styled with a wet finish.

Diablo.

Black denim shorts with gunmetal grommets and layered side flaps create the look of protective armor.

The name means devil in Spanish. The silhouette brought Mexican bull-riding chapettes to mind during the design process.
